At 10 am on 6 May 2013, Sing the National Anthem "Jana, Gana, Mana..." be it at your home, or in school or college, or even on the road. Join the groups singing the national anthem.


Main events on the day.

1. 1,01,000 Sahara India Pariwar workers will sing in on uniform in Lucknow at one point.
2. 10,00,000 Sahara India Pariwar workers will be singing at the same time from 4512 Sahara offices.
3. Army Personnel across seven states are joining in large numbers to sing the national anthem at 10 am
4. More than 1,00,000 students committed to sing.

Ordnance Factories - India

The first ordnance factory for manufacture of guns and shells was set up at Cossipore near Kolkata. There were18 ordnance factories at the time of independence. Now there are 39 factories. Two more factories are coming up.

Other Income of a Policeman and Divorce Maintenance Settlement

A policeman, constable Sainu Virkar of Thane was asked to pay his wife Rs. 16,000 month on a takehome pay of Rs.15,822 on gross pay of Rs. 26,278 per month.

The logic seems to be the arguments from his wife that Virkar brings home Rs.50,000 pm as bribes. Judge accepted the argument as other income even though there is no proof for it and ordered payment of maintenance at Rs. 16,000 pm.

What will be the consequences of such a decision given by the Judge?
