In the auspicious night of Sharad Poornima in October 1922, he was born, in a tiny hamlet called Mangarh, close to the holy city of Prayag (Allahabad).

His mother Bhagvati Devi & father Lalita Prasad named Him Ram Kripalu at birth.

He was a prodigious student and excelled in his studies. He completed much of his scholastic duties at the early age of 15, earning his degree in sanskrit literature & history as Vyakaranachrya (Master of Sanskrit Grammar). He had also been awarded the degree of Kavyatirtha in 1942 he also received his degree as Ayurved Acharya (Master of Ayurved) from Delhi Vidyapeet in 1943 and Sahitya Acharya (Master of History) from Calcutta Vidyapeet in 1943.

On 14th January 1957, Kashi Vidvat Parishat invited Shri Kripaluji Maharaj to deliver lectures. Kashi Vidvat Parishat was the body of 500 topmost scholars of Vedic literature.  Shri Maharaj Ji spoke for ten days revealing the secrets of the Hindu scriptures. He reconciled the apparent contradictions between the various Vedic scriptures, and the differences between the views of the previous Jagadgurus. 

The scholars accepted that his knowledge was deeper than the combined knowledge of all 500 of them put together. They unanimously acclaimed him as Jagadguru, the Spiritual Master of the world. They further added that he was “Jagadguruttam.”

Better future for the ahankara - the identity of a jeevatma is to be pursued. Jeeva actually is ahankara under which the real soul or god's amsa functions.

According to advaita, once jeeva is dissolved, which is dissolved, the soul automatically becomes one with the paramatma. Jeeva, the ahankara is not permanent. It is temporary, a role created by the Paramatma.

Basic Description

Hinduism is a religion that actually originated in Europe over 3,000 years ago with a group of people called Aryans who migrated to India and spread their religion there. Since then, it has grown to over 800 million worldwide, with over one million in the United States.

While there is no ‘official’ statement of beliefs in Hinduism, Hindus have a core of common beliefs that revolve around the impersonal nature of the universe and what impact that should have on our lives. Basically, they believe in a supreme but impersonal god called Brahman, and all the other gods in Hinduism are extensions of this supreme god. They also believes that the universe and all things in it (including all people) are extensions of Brahman, which is why they also calls the universe Brahman. Because of this, the goal of existence is to eventually get to the point where you lose your ‘self’ (because that is just an illusion) and become one with Brahman.
