The Times of India 175 Years - 1938 to 2013

First Issue started on 3 November 1838

The first edition appeared on 3 November 1838, as The Bombay Times and Journal of Commerces as a semi-weekly edition by Raobahadur Narayan Dinanath Velkar. The newspaper was published twice a week ( Saturday and Wednesday) under editor J.E. Brennan. It is basically a city paper catering to the interests of Bombay's business community.

Navbharat Times Starts Publishing from Lucknow

Navbharat started print run from Lucknow on 4 August 2013.

In Delhi Navbharat Times have readership almost equal to Times of India 2.6 million.
