What Is Spiritual Knowledge?

 What is spiritual knowledge?

The acceptance of the concept of spirit in this body is the first important piece of knowledge. Then about its future after it leaves this body.

How can you have better future for your spirit?

Better future for the ahankara - the identity of a jeevatma is to be pursued. Jeeva actually is ahankara under which the real soul or god's amsa functions.

According to advaita, once jeeva is dissolved, which is dissolved, the soul automatically becomes one with the paramatma. Jeeva, the ahankara is not permanent. It is temporary, a role created by the Paramatma.

(You can read full book)

Spiritual Knowledge Watchman Nee Christian Fellowship Publishers, 1 Jan 1973 - Religion - 124 pages “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4.6). So mourned the prophet Hosea. The glory of the gospel of Jesus Christ is that “all shall know [God], from the least to the greatest of them” (Heb. 8.11). Spiritual knowledge is open to all God’s children today. It is therefore not only our duty but also our privilege to seek this knowledge. In the present volume, brother Watchman Nee attempts to help us to develop this spiritual knowledge. He points out the difference between mental knowledge and spiritual knowledge, shows the ways to the true knowledge of God as well as of ourselves, and explains the relationship between spiritual knowledge and the renewed mind.

Think and Vote

In Democracy, thinking of every body counts. It develops into consensus opinion. Express yourself freely with your neighbours. Use social media judiciously to share your opinion with others. Try to influence the outcome with your best effort. Do go and vote.

@PawarSpeaks
President of Nationalist Congress Party - Sharadchandra Pawar
28.4.2024

Translated from Marathi by
Addressed the audience at the public meeting of Mahavikas Aghadi in Patan.

We heard the thoughts of Shashikant Shinde, the candidate of all of us and the representative of the working people of Maharashtra. Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Prithviraj Chavan, Mr. Balasaheb Patil, all fellow friends of INDIA Aghadi present on the stage and Satyajitsinh Patankar, our fellow friends Vikramsinh Patankar and brothers and sisters present who took the initiative to organize today's meeting..!

The Lok Sabha elections have come and on that occasion there is a discussion in the whole country and state. This election which we are now referring to is the election of Satara Lok Sabha Constituency. Satara district is a unique district in the country. When there was an era of freedom, we were in slavery. At that time, the people of the district made huge sacrifices to get freedom in this country, creating history. Satar must be mentioned in it. Many dignitaries have endured hardships for this. Good time of life has been given up.

After independence, the meaning of freedom is those who worked hard to change the life of the common man, in the period after 1947, Satara district has to be mentioned again, and the important reason is that Yashwantrao Chavan, a son of the old Satar of this district, how it is possible to take the meaning of freedom to change the lives of the people. Made a related history. Someone should tell us what we will do in this election? He demanded to give the Bharat Ratna to Chavan Saheb. Anand, you and I are all glad that we have never seen Chavan Saheb's force of thought demanding this.

Many did similar things to him. P.D.Patal built a memorial in Karad and people from outside Maharashtra including Maharashtra come to pay homage to Chavan Saheb at the Sangam. We people have taken many activities in our hands regarding how to live the name of Chavan sir in Maharashtra as well as in Delhi. Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan is one of the many good institutions in Mumbai and in that institution, not only in Maharashtra but also in the country, important issues are discussed with people from all parties. And a fine memorial has been erected to Chavan Saheb in front of the Ministry in Bombay today. Many people do not know that after going to the country's parliament today, if they want to step into the hall, first we have erected a statue of Chavan Saheb there, people have to enter after saluting him. Chavan Saheb worked as the Defense Minister of this country, I worked in that department, Prithviraj worked in that department and we have erected a statue of Chavan Saheb as an accomplished Defense Minister at the door of the office of the Defense Ministry. He has the responsibility on his shoulders to protect the country, the elements when he enters his office. Chavan Saheb was seen for the first time in front of them, so many things have been done by everyone to make a permanent record of Chavan Saheb's contribution. And that's why we never made this issue an election. We never did this topic to ask for opinions. So today, for the first time, we are mentioning here what I did in other places. In terms of elections, it is our responsibility to present our policies and programs there.

There are many questions here today. 4-5 questions which were mentioned here. There is a question like inflation. It became difficult for our sisters to run the house. Driving became difficult. In 2014, the price of petrol was Rs. was Mr. Modi announced that within 50 days after coming to power, I will bring down the price of petrol and bring down the price of diesel. As of today, 3 thousand 650 days have passed by giving promises to Modi. Has the price of petrol come down? In 2014, the price of petrol was Rs 71 and today it has gone up to Rs 106. And it was mentioned by him that the price of gas cylinder was 410 rupees in 2014, it has become 1160 rupees today. Take any assurance. Inflation has not decreased in Modi's state, it has increased. The question of unemployment... He said in many places that we are going to end this unemployment. Mr. Modi has only given a lot of promises. They are coming here tomorrow. Coming to Karad. I think, I think, in a democracy, we have the right to ask them questions. That you said you are doing these things... You said you are doing it in two years... Now ten years have passed. Which of them did you solve? It needs to be said here. I have his speech in my mobile before coming to power 10 years ago. In that speech, he had said that inflation increased so much in Manmohan Singh's state. To this extent I do after giving power in my hands. Even if you listen to those speeches, you will realize that many speeches were made, many promises were given. He did not complete even 50 percent of them. And that is why today they have come to demand the power of the country again.

Criticism is their nature. I don't want to say what I did. We have heard his speeches in many places. They criticize someone… Criticize Rahul Gandhi… They refer to him as Shahzada. The young man who trekked from Kashmir to Kanyakumari to study the overall condition of this country. Reached billions of people. He understood their pain and took concrete steps for the betterment of the country. It is needed, they can arrange it. Let alone praise him, at least do not speak ill of him! Jawaharlal Nehru did not think of Gharadar in the freedom movement. Spent 13 years of his life in British prisons. And after independence in 1947, he set up a structure for the governance of this country in a parliamentary democratic system. This personality had a reputation in this world. Criticisms on Jawaharlal Nehru, mockery of many people. And who is doing it, the Prime Minister of the country can do it. Prime Ministership is an institution and should be respected. We keep it. It is also kept in the House of Parliament. But if you make a statement like this without keeping it, the dignity of the post of Prime Minister cannot remain.

There have been many Prime Ministers in this country. But this situation never happened in anyone's era. At least I haven't seen it. I have closely observed the period of all the Prime Ministers after Indira Gandhi. We have never heard of this. The condition of listening to Modi today has arisen here. So we have to think. Whether to keep the country in their hands or not, to solve the country's problems or not. We have to move ahead with a one-time formula of safeguarding the interests of all the farmers, workers, toilers, women and tribals of the country. And if we want to go down this road, Modi's era, Modi's ideology is not beneficial. And that needs to change. And if we want to change that, in tomorrow's election, we nominated Shashikant Shinde as the representative of the working people here today along with all of you. A man blowing a trumpet in front of Shashikant Shinde's name will be the sign, press the button in front of him. Send them in large numbers to the country's Lok Sabha. I am myself there. Prithviraj Chavan is there. We will all be with them, support their comrades. We will contribute to their queries. Satar's leadership is working effectively in Parliament, let's create this situation, just say here and take my leave. Jai Hind, Jai Maharashtra!

BJP ruled the country for 10 years saying "Enough of corruption, this time Modi government". But BJP did the work of encouraging corrupt people by taking the scammers along with them in their regime. But now the corrupt BJP's burkha is torn in front of the people, so now the people of the country are desperately saying 'enough corruption, not this time again Modi government'.

Explain Your Party Manifesto and Your Constituency Manifesto through One Point a Day in Social Media.

Are You Conversing with Your Voters?

Engagement with Voters: Social media platforms allow political candidates and parties to engage directly with voters, responding to their questions and concerns, and providing them with information about their policies and positions. This can help to build trust and credibility with voters, which is essential for a successful election campaign.

Why Do You Need Social Media in Political Election Campaigns?

Chunav Parchar

India's Leading Political Campaign Management Agency

https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/why-do-you-need-social-media-political-election-chunav-parchar/

---------------------------------------------------------------

Effective Campaign - Seven Principles

Ideally, a campaign needs to:

1 Be multidimensional:

communicating in all the dimensions of human understanding and decision-making. Political, emotional, economic, spiritual, psychological, technical, scientific, maybe more. Even if it begins in one, it must be able to translate into the others.

It must understand the intuitive and personal (for example flowing from psychology and culture), and the counter-intuitive (for example from science) and be able to deal in both

2 Engage by providing agency

 – it needs to give its supporters greater power over their own lives. It must offer a credible, feasible and atttractive way to make a new and additional difference.

3 Have moral legitimacy

which it gets not by whom it represents but by meeting a need. Campaigners and their supporters have to be convinced the campaign is needed to make something happen in society which ought to be happening but which is not. The more widely shared this feeling becomes, the greater the moral authority of the campaign and the more that can be done. Most campaigns are planned in the mind, won in people’s hearts and rationalized again in the mind

4 Provoke a conversation in society.

To be effective, campaigns often need society to rethink its views and actions on a particular issue. When campaigns achieve ‘cross-over’ or a self-sustaining chain reaction of participation, then of course the campaigning organization has lost ‘control’ and the ‘issue’ is no longer its property, but it has probably succeeded in changing that society forever. Start talking with society, end by society talking to itself

5 Have verve, élan, infectious energy.

It may feed aspirations, or provide security but above all, it needs an inspired vanguard. If your campaign doesn’t excite you, then it probably won’t engage others

6 Be strategic.

It must plan a way to assemble enough forces to change what it wants to change. It must involve a battle-winning strategy at one level, and a war-winning strategy composed of a series of battles.

7 Be communicable

first verbally, as a story – which enables it to be passed on, remembered, perhaps mythologized, not forgotten, mused over, rekindled, reinvented; second, visually: both as emotionally powerful framing images, and as ‘evidences’. These visual signs are short cuts to understanding. Campaigns that can be communicated like this can be literally understood without words so have no trouble crossing over languages or, for the most part, across cultures. They also become ‘semiostic’ – people read their own meaning into the images, enabling a campaign to unite rather than to divide.

With qualities such as these, a campaign can resonate, spread and survive setbacks, able to reinvent itself and grow ‘reflexively’. Even if crushed, oppressed or deserted by supporters, such a campaign may live on as an inspiration and rise again. When campaigns are successful in these terms they can offer some people a lifestyle or belief system, and in some cases organizations, individuals and the campaigns become indistinguishable.

How to Win an Indian Election

Shivam Shankar Singh

Penguin Random House, 2019

What role do political consultants play in election campaigns? How are political parties using technological tools such as data analytics, surveys and alternative media to construct effective, micro-targeted campaigns? How does the use of money impact election results? What aids in the en masse dissemination of divisive propaganda and fake news? What does it take to win an election in India today? What is the future of politics in the country? Written by a former election campaign consultant for a major political party, How to Win an Indian Election takes readers into the forbidden world of election war-rooms and gives them a glimpse of how strategy is formulated, what works with voters on the ground and what doesn't. Based on research, interviews and the author's own experiences, this book is invaluable for its insight into the inner workings of politics, political parties and what really makes for a winning election campaign.

AN APPEAL by Congress in Its 2024 Election Manifesto

----------------------------

AN APPEAL

The ten years of the BJP/NDA government have been marked by exaggeration and publicity rather than substance and performance. The economy has registered less-than-satisfactory growth. Widespread unemployment, high inflation and falling consumption have debilitated even this modest growth.

While the poor and the middle classes have been hit below the belt, the atmosphere in the country has become hate-filled and divisive. Constitutional values have been pushed to the background and majoritarianism has taken over.

Inequalities have widened. Every section of the people lives in fear.

What India and the Indian people need at this time is a decisive break from the path of the last ten years. The people yearn to walk on the road of all-round development, equality, equity, freedom and justice. Congress has the capability to provide the leadership to the people to walk on this new road.

The lessons of history are there before you.

  • Congress delivered Independence.
  • Congress laid the foundations of  democracy.
  • Congress steered the country’s economic development through the 1950s and 1960s.
  • Congress governments fought the wars of 1965 and 1971 and protected the sovereignty and integrity of India.
  • Congress brought about a paradigm change in 1991 and ushered in an era of impressive growth.
  • In the last ten years, the Congress has been the bulwark against illiberalism and authoritarianism.
  • Congress has stood with the people in their fight against injustice and oppressive laws.

Bearing in mind the lessons of history, the Congress appeals to you to repose your faith once again in the Indian National Congress.

--------------------

We promise you greater freedom, faster growth, more equitable development and justice for all.

We appeal to you to vote for the ‘Hand’ symbol and for the candidates of the Indian National Congress

---------------------

It is time to remind ourselves of Tagore’s immortal words in Gitanjali:

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high

 Where knowledge is free

Where the world has not been broken up into fragments

 By narrow domestic walls

Where words come out from the depth of truth

Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection

Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way

Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit

Where the mind is led forward by thee

 Into ever-widening thought and action

Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

Industry Promotion - Congress 2024 Lok Sabha Election Manifesto

---

INDUSTRY

In order to become a developed economy and create good quality jobs for hundreds of thousands of youth, it is critical that India transitions from a consumer economy to a producer economy. India must become a manufacturing powerhouse that produces goods and services for itself and the world. To this end, beyond economic and business factors, the most vital ingredient is social harmony that will attract investments and a skilled labour force. It is thus no surprise that in the last 25 years, India’s manufacturing share of GDP has been higher during the Congress rule. On the contrary, in the last 10 years (2014-24), the share of manufacturing has stagnated at 14 per cent.

1. Congress resolves to make India a manufacturing hub by raising the share of manufacturing from 14 per cent to 20 per cent of GDP in the next five years.

2. The most immediate objective will be to restore a healthy, fearless and a trustworthy climate for businesses. While a Congress government in 1991 abolished industrial licensing and controls, the independent regulatory regime that was put in place has deteriorated into a system of overt and covert controls. We will conduct a comprehensive review of the current rules and regulations and repeal or amend them in order to restore freedom to industry, business and trade.

3. Congress will aim for India attaining a position of leadership in multiple industries such as steel, metals, garments and textiles, cement, automobiles, electronic goods, pharmaceuticals, engineering goods, petroleum products, chemicals, and mining rare earths and critical minerals.

4. According to the RBI, nearly 60 per cent of the large central government projects have been stalled or delayed and costs have risen by nearly 5 lakh crores. Congress will address the problem in a mission-mode and find ways and means to revive the stalled projects with the help of the private sector.

5. Congress will reform the production-linked incentives (PLI) scheme to target specific sectors that can create thousands of jobs by making India one of the top 5 producers in the world in that sector.

6. We will introduce a new employment-linked incentive (ELI) Scheme for corporates to win tax credits for additional hiring against regular, quality jobs.

7. We will give the highest priority to intellectual property rights and to the registration, acquisition, protection and use of IPR in small, medium and large businesses.

8. Congress will create a level playing field for all businesses. We are opposed to monopolies and oligopolies. We will strengthen the Competition Commission of India in order to ensure that India will be an open and competitive economy.

9. Congress will simplify the corporate taxation structure and end tax terrorism. We will restrain the investigating agencies from misusing their powers to reward or punish corporates and ensure that they act within the strict limits of the law.

10. We will encourage and support the use of Artificial Intelligence, robotics, etc. which will create new and frontline jobs. At the same time, we will ensure that there are more job opportunities in sectors that use conventional technology.
