Savitur – “Divine Sun” (The ultimate light of wisdom)
Varenyam – I adore
Bhargo – capable of dispelling ignorance
Devasya – of God (The God capable of dispelling ignorance)
Dheemahi – “We Contemplate”
Dhiyo – “Intellect”
Yo – “Who”
Nah – “Ours”
Prachodayat – should increase
I adore the God of three worlds, Savitur. I contemplate on him who is capable of dispelling ignorance. He should increase and raise our intellect.
