Men's Individual 1/32 Elimination Round:

Jayanta Talukdar vs Jacob Wukie (USA) (1345 hrs)
Jayanta Talukdar crashed out of men’s individual archery event after he lost to USA’s Wukie Jacobs 0-6.

Rahul Banerjee vs Jantsan Gantugs (Mongolia) (1930 hrs)

Banerjee won against  the Mongolian with 3 sets to nil. He had shoots three straight 10s.
Then Rahul Banerjee crashed out of London Olympics as he lost 3-7 to Rafal Dobrowolski of Poland in the pre-quarterfinals of the men's individual event



Tarundeep Rai vs Juan Carlos Stevens (Cuba) (2045 hrs)

Tarundeep Rai won against Juan Carlos Stevens
But  Tarundeep Rai lost 2-6 agaisnt Bubmin Kim of Republic of Korea in the Olympic pre-quarterfinals of the men's individual event.

Chekrovolu Swuro vs Jennifer Nichols (USA) (1515 hrs)

Chekrovolu Swuro lost to Jennifer Nichols of USA in the Round of 32 in the women’s individual Archery.

BADMINTON

Men's singles  Group D match:

Kashyap Parupalli vs Tien Minh Nguyen (Vietnam) (1300 hrs)
Kashyap won his singles badminton match and moved into prequarter finals.

Women's doubles Group B match:

Jwala Gutta-Ashwini Ponnappa v Shinta Mulia Sari/Lei Yao (Singapore) (2300 hrs)

Jwala Gutta-Ashwini Ponappa: into the next round of the badminton event of the London Olympics by beating SM Sari and L Yao of Singapore 21-16, 21-15.

Mixed doubles Group C match:

Jwala Gutta-V Diju v Jung Eun Ha/Jung Eun Ha (South Korea) (1415 hrs)
Jwala Gutta and V Diju's campaign in the mixed doubles ended.They lost to South Korea's Jung Eun Ha and Yong Dae Lee 0-2.

BOXING

Devendro won by knockout in Round 1


Men's Light-welter (64kg) Round of 32:

ROWING

Men's Single Sculls quarter-finals Repechage 1:

Sawarn Singh has to fight for placings in the semi-final of the Men`s Single Sculls as he finished 4th in the 3rd Quarterfinal.

Men's Lightweight Double Sculls Repechage 2:

Sandeep Kumar/Mandeep Singh (1500 hrs)
Sandeep Kumar-Manjeet Singh have finished last in their repechage with a time of 6:54.20.

WEIGHTLIFTING

Men's 69kg: (1430 hrs)


Ravi Kumar has crashed out of the event.
