Philosophy related to any topic is the  theoretical basis of that topic. Theoretical basis will consists of many laws, cause and effect relationships related to the topic.

Mission is related to the purpose of any organized group to pursue an activity. The mission is based on the philosophy underlying the activity or purpose.

Vision is a more tangible goal to be achieved as a part of achieving the mission with in a time frame.

Strategy is an important higher level decision. There are alternatives at the higher levels and if one is chosen as the alternative to pursue, many lower level activities are specified by it.

Action programmes are the lower level activities and tasks. Many activities are derived from strategies. But there is likelihood that as organizations consist of large number of people, there are many autonomous activities carried by them based on their individual preferences. So the beliefs of lower level people can convince the senior management to approve some activities whose logical connection to the strategy may be weak but they satisfy the strongly felt need of certain people sometimes even a group of customers.
